By increasing understanding of poverty and injustice, World Vision seeks to promote public involvement and government policies that alleviate poverty. In the Philippines, World Vision helps more than 120,000 children through child sponsorship and 48 community-based Area Development Programs (ADPs) in 33 provinces.
