About the Organisation:
Karl Kübel Institute for Development and Education (KKID) - Coimbatore functions as a unit of Karl Kübel Foundation for Child and Family (KKF) - Cochin in India with the development co-operation support from Karl Kübel Stiftung Für Kind and Familie (KKS), Germany. The Regional Office of NGO-IDEAs-India operates in KKID.
Aim of KKID: Improving the Quality of Human Resources so as to improve the quality of life.
The core focus of the institute is to nurture and nourish human resources for development of individuals for life. KKID offers a blend of programmes for all sectors. The programmes endeavour individuals to build one's own skill to improve the quality of life and organisation. KKID is a centre for dialogue between people and organizations; excellence in Human Resource Development; and Research & Development.
Through the Regional Office, NGO -IDEAs project-I was piloted in Savings and Credit sector in South India between 2004-2007 and the present Phase II will continue till 2011.

33 years of experience in social development fields in various capacities as Learning and Impact Adviser; Programme Director, DANIDA Indian Adviser, Senior Social Scientist, Research Fellow with the employers of 'Save the Children UK', 'CARE India', 'DANIDA', 'State Govt'. of Tamil Nadu, and GIRH & FP. Worked in different sectors of rural development programmes, Health & Family Planning, Water and Sanitation, Child Rights, Gender and Tsunami Rehabilitation Programme.
